Tater Tot Casserole

This Tater Tot Casserole is a great weekend meal that is easy to make, tastes great, and will be a hit with everyone. On top of ground beef, vegetables, and a creamy sauce are tater tots wrapped in cheese. It's a great dish that has all of your food groups in it.

My house always has tater tots. We usually have at least two or three bags in the freezer. They go well with any meal, can stand in for hash browns when mixed with eggs, or can be eaten on their own as a snack.

This dish is one of my favorite ways to eat tater tots. It's a great way to make a meal that everyone in your house will love by putting together a lot of tasty things.

A few things to remember about this Tater Tot Casserole.

1) You can totally make this with a ground beef replacement that isn't made from meat. Most of the time, I make one with meat for my boys and one without meat for my husband and me. You could also easily find veggie versions of the cream soup and cheese to use.

2) You can change the baking time depending on how crisp you want your tater tots to be. We like ours to be pretty crispy, but my directions include the time and heat to make them golden brown. You can always cook them a little longer if you want them to be even crispier.

3) You can make these more interesting by adding things like bacon on top or making a Mexican version with corn, black beans, and taco sauce.
