Kourtney Mary Kardashian was born on April 18, 1979, in Los Angeles, California.
Her parents are Robert Kardashian and Kris (née Houghton).
She has two younger sisters, Kim and Khloé, and a younger brother, Rob.
In 1991, her parents divorced, and her mother married Bruce Jenner, who later changed her name to Caitlyn.
Through her mother's marriage to Bruce Jenner, Kourtney gained stepbrothers Burton "Burt," Brandon, and Brody, stepsister Casey, and later half-sisters Kendall and Kylie.
Kourtney attended Marymount High School, a Roman Catholic all-girls school in Los Angeles.
After high school, she moved to Dallas, Texas, and attended Southern Methodist University for two years.
She then relocated to Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and a minor in Spanish.
